Don't Ask Me (About The Thousand Pages)

You sense that you’re alive the same time a war is waged
You realize the bible is missing around a thousand pages
You wonder who hid it until it burns inside with rage
You notice your toes begin to look a rather bit strange
As if something deep within you is ready to be changed
You hear a madman trying to talk on stage
About some businessmen building a giant cage
You hear the madman trying to talk on stage
About the people who are stuck in a different age
You find the evening it calls you to a distant land
It tells you not to worry you already carry the plan
Search for an orphan girl the map is the lines on her hand
She follows a six piece Egyptian rock and roll band
And a child who’s destined to one day become a man
Together they walk barefoot tonight in some desert sand
Now I got no promises to keep no one I need to meet
I’ll sail out to the sea where there is no one to speak
I’ll travel to the furthest lands where I cannot be defeat
Where there is nothing known and only nothing to teach
So you do what you want and don’t come asking me
